A short commentary on Saʻdī's Gulistān in five parts, consisting of explanations of select verses, followed by, as part 5, a short lexicon of terms of Arabic (and some of Persian) origin with their definitions in Turkish. The lexicon is very similar to that found in another manuscript following Lâmiî Çelebi's commentary on the preface of Gulistān, Şerh-i Dibace-yi Gülistan -- see Islamic Manuscripts, Third Series no. 162.
